iosangel:

the carbon cycle consists of a number of biotic (living) and abiotic (nonliving) factors that act as carbon reservoirs, or locations where more carbon is stored than released. Carbon travels constantly from reservoir to reservoir, sometimes stopping for a very long time and sometimes stopping for only a short time. Which of the following are abiotic carbon reservoirs? oceans animals atmosphere fossil fuels sun decomposers

kittybasil:

Well, the definition you're given for "abiotic" is "nonliving" stuff, which means it can't have any live organisms in it. By that definition, we can strike out the following:

  • oceans
  • animals
  • atmosphere
  • fossil fuels
  • sun
  • decomposers
The last one counts because decomposers include bacteria and fungi... and fungi are living creatures.

kittybasil:

@iosangel does that help?

iosangel:

Oh lol thats what i was think thank you so much yes that help
