This happened to me recently, and this dude and i were flirting and he decided not to talk to me for a week. Yeah, they act as if it means nothing, as if leaving us on open and delivered for days and then saying no you're amazing and beautiful i would never ignore you. Yeah, I don't think they care. but that's mafia for ya.
