Please edit the paragraph I wrote comparing and contrasting the text medium and audio medium of the short story "The Tell-Tale Heart" by Edgar Allan Poe. I enjoyed both the text and audio medium of the short story “The Tell-Tale Heart" by Edgar Allan Poe, although each medium had different effects on me. The pace in both versions are amazing and work well with the story. I like reading at my own pace. It Gives me a chance to add my own twist which keeps the story exciting. Hearing how the audio would speed up and slow down Helped set the story's mood, the audio made it very intriguing and exciting. In both versions the characters are interesting and they are not right in the head. While I was reading I imagine the main character as a man with an intense look in his eye's and have a low creepy voice and may seem insane. I think of Rumpelstiltskin from the show Once Upon A Time. When I was listening to the audio medium the main character definitely sounds creepy, it sounds like he's gone insane and mood affected you in each medium. The voice add to the story because he sound like I imagined. The story is very intense and exciting in both the text and audio mediums. When I was reading I felt tense like Anything could happen at a drop of a hat and scared because of how the details were described. I was also curious to read what was going to happen. While listening to the audio the mood of the story is intensified by the music, sound effects and how the story is being told. You feel many different emotions. Although, the text medium and audio medium of “The Tell-Tale Hart” presented and expressed the same story in different ways, I equally enjoyed both on them.
