BlasiannPrincess1:

In some regions of the world, forests are cut down and then burned to create room for farmland. How might this local environmental change affect people living on the East Coast of the United States?

441204:

It will people living in the U.S. a lot because trees supply us oxygen

441204:

And it will affect animals dang a lot because thats their main resources for building their house nests and habitats

AngeI:

So trees actually do not supply as much oxygen as most people think. Phytoplankton make about 75% of all oxygen on Earth. Anyways back to the question, like @441204 said the animals would be affected since they would lose some of their habitat. The animals might then affect the people in a negative way and its possible they might linger on the farmland and destroy crops. I hope I was able to add some more helpful infromation cx
