Durilin:

Your friend says that the volume of a sphere with a radius r is four times the volume of a cone with radius r. When is this true? Justify your answer.

darkknight:

It says I won't answer it, lol

payton:

lol

Durilin:

You can answer.

payton:

i thought u were talking about the other persons question

Durilin:

No I sent this link.

payton:

it took me to the other question for some reason

payton:

anyways...

darkknight:

Im a bit tired rn, get to you later. Until then, @ramen see if they can solve it :)

Durilin:

payton, could you do it?

payton:

ill try

ramen:

ok ppl

Durilin:

so, you going to help?

payton:

ok so... Volume of a sphere is given as 4/3pie*cube of radius Volume of cone = 1/3pie*square of radius *l So, this case will be true when r=l that is slant height equals radius of the cone.

payton:

does this help?

Durilin:

Yeah, thanks Payton. Knew you would answer it.

payton:

i tried like u said

Durilin:

And I am 100% sure you got it right.

payton:

well let me know if you did

Durilin:

Ok

payton:

is it right?

Durilin:

yeah

payton:
