A poem of sorts that I wrote <.<

she lured them in like lambs to the slaughter
she said she'd care for them but in her hands she held their hearts which beat no longer
perhaps it wouldve been different if she did not wear a mask of beauty
but because of her deception those poor lambs lie in ruin
perhaps it wouldve been different if they did not follow her blindly
but how could the lambs know that the pull of their heartstrings would lead to such violence
