justjm:

is this from precalc on FLVS?

esha1963:

no.

justjm:

You just have to find the y-intercept for each function. You can find f(x) by noting that it is in the form of y=mx+b where y=f(x), and b=y-intercept. g(x)'s can be determined graphically. h(x)'s y-intercept can be determined by finding h(0).

esha1963:

so f(x) is the answer right?

I'm very sorry, I am not familiar with this material and I am unable to assist you. However, you can tag @justjm while he was the one helping you, he went offline but we he is on he may be able to continue helping you on this question. I hope you understand, thank you.

justus:

when*

esha1963:

okay thanks!

justjm:

Yes f(x) is right bc the y-intercept of f(x) is 3, g's is 2, and h(x) is h(0)=2sin(3(0)+pi)-1 = -1

esha1963:

thanks!
