What is Kara is writing a science-fiction story. In the story, Earth no longer experiences day and night. To return Earth to normal, which action should the heroine of the story take?

leila123456:

This is confusing

finnwolfhard:

wait like what do we think the heroine should do? or what they should do based on common and scientific sense?

leila123456:

move

finnwolfhard:

move?

leila123456:

rotate

finnwolfhard:

OH ok lemme think

leila123456:

ok

finnwolfhard:

she should get Earth spinning on its axis again i think

leila123456:

ok

finnwolfhard:

bc the Earth gets day and night bc the earth is spinning on its axis, so if they want it to be day and night they should make it spin on its axis

finnwolfhard:

i think

QuestionCoveBot:

Yes, that is correct.

leila123456:

Thank you

leila123456:

how would you know it rotates

leila123456:

need a clarification

finnwolfhard:

how would i know what what rotates?

darkknight:

yes @finnwolfhard is correct. If the earth rotates on its axis. Then the earth would experience day and night. It depends on the side of the Earth that is facing the sun at any given moment. Whichever side of the Earth is facing the sun, is the side in the period of daytime. And the side on the opposite side of the Earth would be nighttime. Are you asking how the heroine could possibly do this? I feel like since it is science-fiction. You can make something up (Something semi-reasonable) and get the Earth to rotate on its axis again.

leila123456:

thanks
