Which components do all circuits have in common? Select three options. energy source voltmeter wires ammeter device that needs electrical energy

Vocaloid:

as a hint, wires **are** a part of all circuits (otherwise the electricity won't flow), while ammeters are not (ammeters measure current but they're not necessary for the circuit to run) do you have any ideas about the other choices?

leila123456:

um

leila123456:

Is energy source like from a pole to make electricity

Vocaloid:

well, a typical energy source in a circuit would be a battery, so you're on the right track so yes, all circuits have "energy source in common". so far we have energy source in common + wires as 2 out of the 3 options. any ideas what might be the third component common to all circuits?

leila123456:

Wires

leila123456:

and Voltmeter

Vocaloid:

mmm not quite. a voltmeter measures voltage but a circuit will run fine without it.

Vocaloid:

since we eliminated ammeter and voltmeter, that narrows us down to energy source wires device that needs electrical energy

leila123456:

ok
