Well the tilt of the Axis creates the seasons... so that's not it. The shape of the orbit wouldn't cause the day and night to go away it would only change the time in chich the seasons cnage. and the Sun doesn't orbit the Earth... The Earth orbits the sun. So waht do you think the answer is?
