How long does it take to recover from a dislocated kneecap? It usually takes about 6 weeks to fully recover from a dislocated kneecap, although sometimes it can take a bit longer to return to sports or other strenuous activities.
from google ;w;
But das just it Idk if it actually IS dislocated, I just think it is, I need to get it checked
What are the symptoms of a dislocated knee? hearing a “popping” sound at the time of injury. severe pain in the area of the knee. a visible deformity at the knee joint. instability of the knee joint, or feeling like your knee joint is “giving way” limitations in the range of movement of your knee. swelling.
Also from google
Did you hit your knee tho and that's when it started hurting?
NOOOOOOO it IS DISLOCATED :(
and Idk how I did it Mira
But did it start hurting after you hit it on something? Or out of nowhere it kinda just started hurting and you didn't really know why.
outta nowhere
okay and how long has it hurt for?
5 days now
hmmmmm... I would have said like growing pains but they don't last that long. My best guess is that you either stretched it too much or you hit it sometime and didn't really realize it and then you keep moving it so the pain isn't goin away. I would say, try not to move it as much. Also, if you are on your knees a lot like doing something on the ground that could also be it. Just try not to bend your knees all too much and try to stay off of your knees.
Mira is a nurse .o.
or a doctor
Hmm Idk Mira I mean I can't straighten it
lol Both my parents are in the health profession

Gentle Reminder: Ice it, elevate it, get a knee brace, and get x-rays as soon as possible!
