3 tosses, with heads *only* on the last toss ---> TTH, so there's only 1 outcome that fits the requirements now, we want to divide that by the total # of outcomes. how many outcomes are there for flipping three coins? each individual coin has 2 outcomes, so multiply that 3 times to account for all three coins
