Where would the pauses be placed when reading this sentence to convey meaning? In some games (not Dungeon Siege II), the motions of a human actor are captured using a special suit of sensors to represent the control points of the character's skeleton. A. After the comma and motions B. After games an actor C. After games and at the comma D. None of the above
My guess: C. I tried saying it all out, and after the comma, anyone would usually pause, and you might pause a short while after 'games' because there are brackets explaining something else, and the writer is trying to tell the reader 'not Dungeon Siege II'. And whoever would read the sentence out, would pause for a moment to make sure the listener understands that fact. Thank you :) | This is my point of view, you may think of a different answer |
