mariaalike:

The formula s = StartRoot StartFraction S A Over 6 EndFraction EndRoot gives the length of the side, s, of a cube with a surface area, SA. How much longer is the side of a cube with a surface area of 1,200 square inches than a cube with the surface area of 768 square inches?

Mercury:

s = sqrt(SA/6) you have two cubes with two different surface areas and side lengths. you can use the formula, plug in surface area (SA) and find the two side lengths. then, since it wants to know how much longer one side is compared to the other, simply subtract (larger side) - (smaller side)
