i miss him, but im hurt. he hurt me a lot. the situation was initially what i thought broke us, but it was actually him. i tried my best. i cried a lot. i blamed myself. i thought it wouldnt get better. he seemed fine through everything. we're still close, but it doesnt feel that same. after a year and half feeling like i am not good enough, i finally got tired of it. i detached from those negative feelings i was having and learned to love myself. i realized that i cannot grow without learning to appreciate and give myself credit. when i started loving myself, i quickly noticed everything around me getting better. he apologized a week ago, and i accepted. but the truth is, i dont need him anymore. after constant nights of crying over losing him, i realized that he wasnt the source of my happiness anymore. i focused on myself, my future, and my life. now im better. it's too late for him to try now. i mightve forgave him, but im past him and have evolved into bigger and better things. moral of the story: dont fall in love too quickly.
