As anyone can see, the Komodo dragons causes a problem for the villagers on the island by killing their goats and chickens which are their livestock. The villagers aren’t just afraid that their animals have been getting attacked and killed they are also afraid that their kids will. According to, Ibrahim Hamso the secretary of the Kampung Rinca village, "Today it's a goat, and tomorrow it can be our child." Every day when the Village kids go to school they have to be on the lookout for Komodo dragons that sometimes find their way into the classrooms, they send all the kids home when there is a Dragon in the classroom. There was laws put in place by the Nature Conservancy to protect the motor dragon from Extinction such as Banning any non-native animals like the common house pet the dog from the island. However, dogs help deter the Komodo dragons from entering the villages so now it’s easier for the dragons to into the villages and attack the animals and get into the classrooms. Now because the Komodo dragon eating through the villages easier there’s less places that are safe for the villagers.
