Gary has 3 red apples,2Green apples and 1 yellow apple in a Sack. he also has 3 packages of peanuts,2 packages of Almonds and 1 package of cashew in other sack if he reaches into each Sack without looking what is the probability that he will grab a yellow apple and a package of peanut

Mercury:

consider the fruit sack first probability of getting a yellow apple = (# of yellow apples) / (total # of fruit) similar logic with the nuts probability of getting a peanut package = (# of peanut packages) / (total # of packages) calculate these probabilities separately. now, since the problem is asking for the probability of both events, simply multiply the two probabilities together
