Which function is a quadratic function? p(x) = 2x(x2 + 6) + 1 m(x) = –4(x + 3) – 2 t(x) = –8x2(x2 – 6) + 1 h(x) = 3x(x – 2) – 4

Mercury:

recall that a quadratic function has 2 as its highest exponent try to see which of the function will have an x^2 term as the highest exponent term for example, p(x) wouldn't work because the highest exponent will be x^3 when its fully expanded. p(x) expands to 2x^3 + 12 x + 1 repeat this logic with the other choices
