PinkGlitterz:

Are there any answer choices?

Vocaloid:

old question, but will respond so this can be closed answer choices -Lamark's publications -the ecological species concept -Darwin’s journals -the fossil record

Vocaloid:

going through the choices one by one - Lamark's publications --> false, as his primary argument was that individual animals adapted to their surroundings -the ecological species concept ---> false, as this is simply the idea that species should be defined based on their niches - Darwin's journals ---> false. this is a good guess, though. Darwin observed differences in species based on their enviornment, and developed the theory of natural selection (organisms w/ favorable traits are more likely to pass on their genes). however, this by itself is not good evidence of species changing over time leaving us with: -the fossil record, which is physical evidence that species change over time. you can observe fossils, date them, and observe how they change over time.
