first you count how many 0s are in front of your last numbers that are bigger than 0 next you take the first one and put the decimal behind it the other numbers are behind the decimal multiply it by 10 but dont answer then put your power down, to find the power just take the amount of zeros make the number negative ant place it after the 10. 2.28x10^-9
