Select the correct answer from each drop-down menu. John has a rectangular-shaped field whose length is 62.5 yards and width is 45.3 yards. The area of the field is square yards. The perimeter of the field is yards.
So how do you get area, you take L(W) = Area thats the first part
To get perimeter you have to add everything on the outside. We know that rectangles have 4 sides, 2 sets of which are equal. So take the L times 2, and the height times 2, add them together, and you have yourself the perimeter.
so the first thing i would do is figure out the area. the formula for area is L*W. so that would give you 2831.25 then i would solve for perimeter. the formula for perimeter is L+W+L+W. so that would give you 215.6 these are the answers i got
I just got a warning for giving someone the exact answer -.-
you're not suppoesed to give exact answers. you're supposed to guide them to the answer
Thank you so much both of you
you're welcome :)
Np!
So as long as we describe why we got the answer we can give it to them?
I didn't want to get in trouble so I wasn't giving any numbers lol
if you want to, you can give a medal to the person who you think gave the best answer
