The scale factor of a room for a scale drawing is 2.3. The actual length of a wall in the room is 46 feet and the actual width of the room is 69 feet. What is the area of the scale drawing? 1. 50 square feet 2. 500 square feet 3. 600 square feet 4. 1380 square feet I think its 50 sq ft cuz I did the math in my head and that's what I got
NM
First find the area of the wall
Its 600 sq ft
49x69?
46*
Its acually 3174
Now with the total area, you just need to divide that number by the scale factor number. And then you'll get your final answer
I got another question
I think its 80 sq ft
How do you know that?

The steps on finding the answer
Its becasue the original area number was multiplied by 2 to have the answer 160 as the new area number. Just divide the new number by 2 and you get your original area number which is 80 square feet
I know that 16divided by 2 is 8 so then when I got 8, I added the 0 on the end to get 80
