What is the area of the scale drawing? 1. 50 square feet 2. 500 square feet 3. 600 square feet 4. 1380 square feet I think its 50 sq ft cuz I did the math in my head and that's what I got

NM

silvernight269:

First find the area of the wall

Aubree:

Its 600 sq ft

silvernight269:

49x69?

silvernight269:

46*

silvernight269:

Its acually 3174

silvernight269:

Now with the total area, you just need to divide that number by the scale factor number. And then you'll get your final answer

Aubree:

I got another question

Aubree:

I think its 80 sq ft

silvernight269:

How do you know that?

Aubree:

silvernight269:

The steps on finding the answer

silvernight269:

Its becasue the original area number was multiplied by 2 to have the answer 160 as the new area number. Just divide the new number by 2 and you get your original area number which is 80 square feet

Aubree:

I know that 16divided by 2 is 8 so then when I got 8, I added the 0 on the end to get 80
