DBOY:

In two or more complete sentences, describe how to graph the following equation. In your description, include the slope and both the x- and y-intercepts of the line. y=2

kittybasil:

When we have only \(y=A\) with "A" being a random number, it is a horizontal line. This is because we are viewing a linear function in slope-intercept form, or\[y=mx+b\]Here, \(m\) is the slope and \(b\) is the y-intercept. The reason that you don't see the values for \(mx\) is because the slope for a horizontal line is zero. As a result, if you were to write the whole thing out it would be\[y=0x+2\]Since 0 multiplied by anything is 0, you can just take that part out entirely. And for the x-intercept part, there aren't any x-intercepts because the line only goes through 1 single y-intercept without ever touching the x-axis. Hope that helped! :)

Also that, yes. I forgot to add a diagram -- *snickering in the peanut gallery*
