If my state were to enact a mandatory seatbelt law, it would considerably reduce the number of deaths per car crash since more people would be encouraged to wear their seatbelt, mostly because of the fear of what the fine could be. Creating this law and applying it can only bring benefits since unnecessary deaths would be avoided as well as fine-money would be collected in order to be reinvested into the community and finance the legislation costs.
