Jhettvh:

Find an irrational number between 9.5 and 9.7

Mercury:

recall that the square roots of non-perfect squares are irrational (ex: sqrt(3), sqrt(5), etc.) so if you square both 9.5 and 9.7, you'll get 90.25 and 94.09 respectively. find an integer between these two values, that is *not* a perfect square. then take the square root of that integer. that result will be an irrational number between 9.5 and 9.7.
