Downpour17:

Why is the sun the only star that can be seen during the daytime? I'm really confused on this one... Can anyone help me out here?

Razor:

Probably because the sun is the closest star to Earth, and it gives us our heat and light.

Shadow:

My guess is that due to the proximity of the sun, it blinds out the light from the other stars. It's only when our side of the planet isn't facing the sun that all the light from the other stars is allowed to be seen.

Shadow:

Similarly when you want to go star gazing, you want to go away from cities. Light pollution interferes will being able to see light from celestial bodies.

Downpour17:

that makes a lot of sense! thanks!

Shadow:

No problem
