Hi! this is a known bug with the android and ios apps, it is caused by the notification subscriptions not being cleared when hitting the logout button - I've been meaning to address this bug, but I've kept forgetting about it.

Ok, refresh the site and hit the logout button, login to your alt, and logout there, that should fix the notifications problem.

As for the languages used to make QC, other than the client side languages, QC mostly consists of Node.JS for the eventserver (what tells the client that something has changed on the site) and the ajax channel (what tells the site you did something) which is currently written in PHP. Most of the pages are also written with some PHP, but mostly it's html/css/js client side. The breakdown of languages is something like this presently (this excludes the eventserver) I've been working on reducing the bulk of QC's JS over the past few years
