Walking is not the most exciting form of exercise a person can take on for fitness. Yet it is low impact and requires no fancy equipment. That makes walking a simple activity for those new to exercise. Walking is less likely than other exercises to cause injury to leg tendons and muscles. All it requires is a good pair of sneakers—no cables, stylish outfits, or weights required. Of course, a person could increase the benefit of a workout by adding weights or speed walking. Which of the following statements supports the main idea in this paragraph? a Walking is boring. b Walking has a low risk of injury. c Walking requires sneakers in good condition. d Walking is too easy for those who exercise regularly.
Well it doesn't say anything about running being boring, so you can rule that one out... Are there others you can rule out? Really focus on the main things the passage is talking about...
thanks
Yeah. Which one do you think is the answer?
b
In the passage, it doesn't really talk about about running and energy. Do you have another letter you think is right?
d
Now, I think it's the last available answer. All of the other answers seem very true and helpful but the passage isn't really talking about any of those. Now, I know that C is kind of a silly answer but that's the main type of topic that the passage is talking about. I would say it's C! Do you get what I'm saying? lol
