2. Create a public service announcement (PSA) using the Writing to support template to plan your
message. Once you complete your plan, you can create a video, slideshow, Power Point or Word document
with your PSA message. A PSA is a non-commercial advertisement for the good of the public. For the PSA
attach your multimedia project to the 4.1 Beyond the Smoke Screen assessment and copy and paste your
Writing to Support plan in the student comment box for the 4.1 Beyond the Smoke Screen assessment

3. Using graphic organizers, you will create a GIST and RAFT. Click on the following links to view directions to
create these organizers for information presented in this lesson. You will submit the GIST and RAFT regarding
the dangers of tobacco to eam credit for this project.
