We got so much pain
That we can’t yet obtain
People see our struggle
And they come up but don’t move a muscle.
When we hear shots, we scatter
Then protests happen-people saying “Black Lives Matter”
But that’s not the case
It’s all about race
Because when we surrender,
We always end up 6 feet deeper
When we try to use our voice,
It’s a choice-not by force
But they hear it as a bunch of noise.
We’re dying everyday
That builds up a lot of hate
Just like they say “NO JUSTICE, NO PEACE!”
Well they’re right.
We have to fight
Even if it takes all day and night
Tupac said: “T.H.U.G.L.I.F.E”
And he is right, but it should always be :
MY LIFE
YOUR LIFE
OUR LIVES
BLACK LIVES
Because….
BLACK LIVES MATTER!!!
