why is the phrase hung it repeated several times in this passage?
the black cat, "one morning in cool blood I slipped a noose about its neck and hung it to the limb of tears streaming from my eyes and with the bitterest remorse at my heart hung it because I knew that in so doing I was committing a sin a deadly sin that would so jeopardize my immortal soul as to place it if such thing were possible even beyond the reach of the infnite mercy of most merchiful and most terrible god"
this guy or gal hung a cat.
I mean they only used the word twice and i guess they did so to like really tell ppl what he or she did and was guilty about
like he or she's heart dropped as they hung the cat, feeling some type of sorrow in the heat of the morning
so i would say they used the word twice to em-(blank) their feeling on the situation
