Aqual:

@bryanxx

bryanxx:

yayy

Shadow:

Are you doing the tutorial or requesting one?

Aqual:

doing the tutorial

Aqual:

I was trying to use the equations but cant find the long division symbol so im using google docs

Shadow:

You can also use the draw tool.

Aqual:

So set it up like that when you are doing long division.

bryanxx:

ok

Aqual:

the first number(the one being divided) goes in the divisor(outside the division bracket) and the second number(the one being divided by) goes in the dividend(the inside of the division bracket).

bryanxx:

\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @Aqual the first number(the one being divided) goes in the divisor(outside the division bracket) and the second number(the one being divided by) goes in the dividend(the inside of the division bracket). \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) alr

Aqual:

next, you start dividing.

50 times 2 goes into 77

Aqual:

So we take the \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @Aqual the first number(the one being divided) goes in the divisor(outside the division bracket) and the second number(the one being divided by) goes in the dividend(the inside of the division bracket). \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) Actually, I mixed that up, first number is dividend and second number is divisor

Aqual:

We aren't there yet but yes.

bryanxx:

XD lol ok

Aqual:

So first you take the divisor and see how many times it goes in the dividend's first number.

Aqual:

so 25 goes into 7 howmany times?

bryanxx:

0

Aqual:

Yes

bryanxx:

so then 25 times 2 goes 77

bryanxx:

what do we do with a reminder

Aqual:

well...

Aqual:

kinda

Aqual:

how many times can you subtract 25 from 77

bryanxx:

52

Aqual:

no

Aqual:

what is 77 - 25?

bryanxx:

im just that dumb

bryanxx:

it is 52

Aqual:

52-25
