braylin:

The regular price of a coat is $40.25. During a sale, the coat was marked 24% off. What was the price of the coat during the sale?

jhonyy9:

so you need calcule the 24% of the coat prize so of $40,25 do you know the rule of 3 simple - than you wan using this so you write 40,25 mean 100% x mean 24% cross multiplie and calcule the x value so get x = (24*40,25)/100 = ? so now to get the price of the coat during the sale just you need subtract the x value what you ve got from this 40,25 and in this way will get easy sure correct the right answer hope helped understandably

braylin:

i dont know how to do that

jhonyy9:

what you dont know ? just multiplie what are inside parentheses and what you get divide it by 100 that's all
