I think I might know where you made your mistake. Did you try plugging in x = 6? Re-read the question carefully. It says that g(x) = 6 which means 6 = 3(x-2) solve for x. divide both sides by 3, then you'll end up with (x-2) on the right side. from there, add 2 to both sides and you'll isolate x.
