Which paragraph uses logical order to present the main idea? 1. My parents bought a lovely new house. It has five bedrooms. It is two-story and made of red brick. The bathrooms are large with marble flooring. The house is absolutely stunning. 2. Crocodiles are members of the reptile family. They are classified this way because they are cold-blooded. They also have scales, which is a trait of this family of animals. In addition, they live in swamps. Crocodiles are reptilian creatures. 3. Playing too much tennis can cause tendonitis. Tendons connect muscles to bones and they can become swollen due to excess activity. This is called tendonitis. Tennis combines jumping and running which puts stress on tendons and makes them swell. Tennis is often the cause of tendonitis. 4. All of the oranges in the cart are bruised. It's only logical then, that I can't find an orange that isn't bruised. Then, since you can't make orange juice from bruised oranges, I may as well conclude that I won't be making orange juice tonight. Since I won't be making orange juice tonight, I suppose I won't have any with my breakfast tomorrow. If I can't have orange juice, I won't want to eat my breakfast. Because the oranges are bruised, I won't be eating any breakfast tomorrow.

Hoodmemes:

Is there another text that has a main idea,or a main idea that u didnt mention in your post?

jay00:

No the only other thing I have is this Structure The structure and format of our writing vary based on content. Expository writing takes a variety of forms, as you saw from the examples presented at the beginning of the lesson. The following are structure patterns that we use to organize writing: Chronological Order (also called Time-Sequence) presents items in the order in which they happened Comparison and Contrast explains similarities and differences between things Cause and Effect explains how an action cause a reaction Logical Order begins with a premise and provides evidence to prove it Classification Schemes explains how to group things into classes Analogy explains the unknown by relating it to the known Definition explains meaning Description provides a set of observations

mxddi3:

@Hoodmemes , we don't need another one ! we just red the 4 and from them we choose which one meets the requirements

mxddi3:

read* sorry i'm a little slow today but, @jay00 do you have a guess as to which one you think is correct?

jay00:

yes I think number 2 is the correct answer but I'm not intirely sure

mxddi3:

what makes you think that?

Hoodmemes:

Do u know the meaning of logical order when it comes to passages?

jay00:

Idrk I'm thinking this because it starts with an argument then it gives facts

Hoodmemes:

Ight but sentence number (blank) is the only one that makes use of a logical order of reasoning to arrange sentences. In that respect, it provides plausible argumentation for each occurrence the narrator describes.

Hoodmemes:

Take another guess and give a explanation of why u think it is that answer.

mxddi3:

so, basically gives reasoning for each statement. does this happen in number 2? @jay00

jay00:

Ok I'm going to read this again one sec pls

jay00:

Ok it's #4 because it is the only one that can be rearranged and still make since it also shows the conclusion in the sentence

mxddi3:

i was going to say 4 as well because there is an explanation for each statement that is written. I see how you thought number 2, but you understand how you got your answer, correct?

jay00:

Yes I do

Hoodmemes:

Like sentence number four is the only one that makes use of a logical order of reasoning to arrange sentence. it provides plausible argumentation for each occurrence the narrator describes, whose account jumps to the conclusion that he or she will not be able to eat breakfast tomorrow because all the oranges are bruised. and the rest of the paragraphs are do not follow a logical line of reasoning,So yes thats how u would be correct bro

jay00:

Both of y'all really helped me out so since I can only give best response to one person. What does becoming a fan do so I can do that for the other person? and thank you both so much for helping me out

Hoodmemes:

np

mxddi3:

Hoodmemes:
