Consider an example of a deck of 52 cards: What is the probability of drawing three queens from a standard deck of cards, given that the first card drawn was a queen? Assume that the cards are not replaced. the answer is 1/425, how?

Mercury:

the OP has stated that the solution is 1/425 "given that the first card was a queen" ---> this means we already assume a queen was drawn. therefore, there are 3 queens left out of 51 cards. (3/51) gives the probability of the next queen since there's no replacement, after this draw, there are 2 queens left out of 50 cards final probability ---> (3/51)*(2/50) ---> simplifies to 1/425
