These wetlands are home to thousands of species of animals and trees.The severe loss of Louisiana’s wetlands is a growing problem that will continue to grow at a fast rate if nothing is done soon. Also,Louisiana’s wetlands play a big role in the protection of the residents of Louisiana.) This is just a lil information u can include in your essay

The environment of Louisiana has been effected in many ways by natural factors, and as well as human factors. Humans have made an strong impact on the environment of Louisiana for many years, and will most likely occur from anymore. There has been many natural factors that  occurred and have been harmful to the environment.

    Louisiana has been impacted by humans since 1782, when humans first settled in the state of Louisiana. Oil industries have a massive impact on the environment. The oil and gas industry is concerning because of the loss of wildlife habitat due to the massive occupation of land by facilities. Also, there is a decline of air quality from diesel emissions. Not only that, but the pollution of the air leads to the quality of water. The water pollution is concerning because dust washes into larger bodies of water. Ever since humans have lived in the state of Louisiana, they have impacted the environment deeply, and again, most likely will for many more years.

   Ever since the founding of Louisiana in 1812, even before then, the environment of Louisiana has been effected strongly by natural factors. Wetlands are a huge factor leading to the issues of the environment. They provide a buffer zone from a hurricane’s storm surge, as well as providing commercial fishermen with jobs. These wetlands are home to thousands of species of animals and trees.The severe loss of Louisiana’s wetlands is a growing problem that will continue to grow at a fast rate if nothing is done soon. Coastal erosion is a severe threat for Louisiana. Forty percent of the nations wetlands are in Louisiana, as a result, transportation routes fall victim for flooding.  Hurricanes are also predators of Louisiana's environment. One of the most famous hurricanes to hit Louisiana is called Hurricane Katrina, which hit in 2005. The force of the winds were so strong, that it broke the levees in which were actually intended to protect the city of New Orleans from flooding. This led to 80% of the city being underwater, which was very deadly. The environment of Louisiana has been very harshly impacted by natural factors, such as hurricanes, flooding, and the loss of wetlands.

    The effects of humans and natural occurrences have on the environment is basically like a horror story. Louisiana's environment has suffered severely due to natural effects, and human effects. These effects are very harmful and destructive to animals, people, and the environment.
