so more understandably i think there wan be given function s(x) = 2 -x^2 and function t(x) = 3x wich value is equivalent to s compus t for x=-7 so (s°t)(-7) ? hope this is true and now you need to know what mean how you get (s°t)(x) = ? after this to can calcule the value of (s°t)(-7) = ?
