How does the illustration portray the impact of reparation (wartime damages) to Germany?
@Eiwoh2
lol
Let's start with a simple question: what is happening in that drawing?
it was something bout the war payments that they had to pay up
Correct. What's happening to the man representing Germany in that illustration? It seems he isn't in the best spot there.
is that the answer
No. I won't give you a direct answer, we guide you to answers here. :) And it's pretty simple to see what's happening to the man. He's under a ton of reparation costs for all the damage the war did to the country.
So what does that tell you about this scenario? How does this illustration, with the description that I gave, portray the impact done on Germany?
no no no i meant like did u guide me to the answer yet?
actually nevermind
I am currently doing so. Did you get it?
oh i think i know france its about France and USA talking about what punishment to give Germany
usa wanna be nice but france wanna make them pay money because France got destroyed
right?
It's part of the full story, however, this specific illustration doesn't contain France. USA, on the other hand, is represented by New York. What's New York saying? "Let's see you collect it." What's it talking about?
encyclopedia for hire XD
nah i remember my teacher goin over this and I think that was the answer
because france got damamged and america was far out west so nobody went there so they were being peaceful
Sure, but you do need to observe that this illustration isn't talking about the damages caused on France. It's on the damages caused on Germany. But if you do think you've found your rhythm, I'd suggest you stick to it. Live and learn, after all. If you're confused on something, feel free to tell me and i'll help explain and guide. :)
ok then bye
