Well water. Sometimes a few different houses share it. Or if it is a neighborhood they all might share it. or have a big well in a main place everyone goes to for water. sometimes they get it from rivers too.

How does the amount of freshwater in glaciers and ice caps compare to the amount of freshwater in sources that can be easily accessed and used? How does the amount of freshwater compare in general with the total amount of Earth’s water supply?
i don't remember this very well. but if it helps about 68.7% of freshwater on earth is held in glaciers.
