Memories of a brighter past.
Some things don't always last.

Prince who wasn't so smart.
Saved for a purpose is a poison dart.
Lost princess with a broken heart.
Ruins, they make their mark.

Houses are never called homes.
On the street are scattered bones.
Town was left in piles of stones.

Forgotten peace in the form of a dove.
Very few who believe in love.
Greater things found above.

Pain, the only visible sound.
Mountains, they're falling down.
All eyes, cast to the ground.
Princess with the torn gown.

I'm the queen of this town.
I wear its worn crown.
