Based on feedback from an independent research firm, the flashlight manufacturer has decided to change the design of the flashlight. The reflector now needs to extend 4 centimeters past the center of the bulb, as shown in the diagram. In the new design, how wide will the reflector (CD) be at its widest point? Show your work.

XluisX:

Ummm im just stuck tbh they gave me a question outta no where

XluisX:

and yes he only variable i was givin was 3

XluisX:

Oh i see why u said 4 now

XluisX:

is it the start of the reflector?

jhonyy9:

so like an idea i think you can use the proportionality of length width than you check it when the center is in point 3 on 3 centimeters from the center the width has 6 units right ?

XluisX:

Idek what im supposed to find

jhonyy9:

idem

jhonyy9:

yes i think this is the way can you show your work here ?

XluisX:

If you can yes do you have zoom?

jhonyy9:

yes i like check it

XluisX:

Can you join a zoom

jhonyy9:

i havent it

XluisX:

jhonyy9:
