welcome to QC! is there an image that goes with this question?

jhonyy9:

\[\frac{ BX }{ XC } = \frac{ AB }{ AC }\] cross multiplie and get AC *BX = AB *XC divide both sides by XC and get \[\frac{ AC*BX }{ XC } = \frac{ AB*XC }{ XC }\] \[\frac{ AC*BX }{ XC } = AB\] and now divide both sides by BX and will get in this way \[\frac{ AC }{ XC } = \frac{ AB }{ BX }\] hope helped understandably easy
