11/12 BELLRINGER. On this day in 1815, Women’s Rights Leader Elizabeth Cady Stanton was born. Stanton is well known for her work in the furthering of women’s rights. Why do you think women were not allowed to vote for such a long time?

Women are used
Given they were actually never given the opportunity to do other things, such as working other then what they were given to do at home which was cooking meals, mending clothes, or teaching their children (basically, cook, clean, and care for the family) since they were always thought of as the weaker sex/person.
