imnotsmartlol:

How do you not have mental breakdowns for school?

Razor:

Find the source of your breakdowns, try to avoid it if you can. When it comes, be ready. Breathe in and out - - If the source of your breakdowns is out of your hands and you're unable to avoid it. Then face it, every day until you become desensitized to it. Most of the time that's out of your hands as well, as your brain is too far from being able to register the problem. That's when you'll know it's serious and you'll need to consult someone to recover. Mental Breakdowns can also come from social anxiety, it's a common thing. People just tend to control themselves more to prevent it in certain moments.

imnotsmartlol:

lol my breakdowns are cuz of school stress and parent stress

ScamTheMan:

The text book definition for a mental breakdown is a term used to describe a period of intense mental distress. During this period, you're unable to function in your everyday life. There are many ways to prevent mental breakdowns, one way is to study mental health. Studying mental health can help you be more conscious of your mental health and be able to control and react better. Another way is to be in tune with your emotions and to be mentally aware. A lot of people have the problem of pushing them deep inside and bottling them up. This isn't good, it'll just cause an emotional and mental breakdown. It'll increase the amount of mental stress pushing down on yourself. Talk to someone about it and try to resolve the issue. When it comes to the weight of schoolwork, the best way to keep from being mentally stressed about it would be to keep up with your work. A lot of people, including myself, have the huge problem of procrastination. If you keep focus and make sure to manage your time, you'll finish your work with time to spare.

Yes, coming from an immigrant family I can totally relate, the solution is just to try and get better at studies and schoolwork. It's a long and tedious process, but if you put effort into it and try your hardest, you'll get there
