Lost in thought that I can't escape

Farther and farther from the flame

They tell me to get my head out of the clouds

But I don't know how

They tell you to wrote it down, but they really don't know the pain

They tell you to blurt it out, but they really don't know I'm strained

What they don't realize, is that all my tales and lies, can't be erased by a little bit of pen and paper
