adriancoleman3:

A zucchini plant in darnells garden was 12 centimeters tall when it was first planted. Since then, it has grown 0.5 centimeters per day. How many days will the Zucchini plant be 0.195 meager tall.

YNWMelly:

what do you mean by meager @adriancoleman3

darkknight:

I think he means meters. anyways the plant is initially 12 centimeters tall, so that is our y-intercept It grows .5 cm a day, so that is our slope. We want to find when the zucchini plant is .195 meters tall, or 19.5 cm So if y=.5x+12. You want to plug in 19.5 for y to determine how many days (x) it will take for the plant to reach 19.5 cm
