Hal,Charles, and Mercedes purchase Buck and the Team. Unfortunately, they are incompetent buffoons. Every day when they have free time they alway brawl with each other, if they treat each other like that imagine how they would treat the dogs . The owners interact with the dogs poorly they expect them to pull the heavy sleigh filled with pots, pans, clothes and tents. The dogs new owners are not good dog owners and they are not smart. Hals family are not good dog owners because they don't treat the the dogs nicely, instead they whip the dogs manly Buck to get them to do the very hard work. The family adapt to the harsh environment unsuccessful. When they were on the trail they feel in the river bank and unfortunately the family and the team died but lucky Buck survived. That is the way Charles, Hals, and Mercedes life was with the dogs.
