Rich deposited money into a bank account that earned 2.5% simple interest each year. After 2 years, he had earned $14.65 in interest on the account. No other money was deposited into or withdrawn from the account. How much was his initial deposit? Enter your answer in the box.

makaylab:

what do i do

Hoodmemes:

As a user already stated in your last post u wanna divide the amount earned from the percentage First u wanna turn the percentage into a decimal \[2.5\div 100= 0.025\] Then u wanna divide the earned amount by the new decimal \[14.65 \div 0.025=586\] Now,since it states to years u wanna divide 586 by 2 \[586\div 2=(blank)\]

Hoodmemes:
