Why aren't Spanish days of the week capitalized?

i'm not quite sure as to why....i mean, Spanish is very different than English and all i can say is bc it's the rules.

there are other rules in spanish you follow as well... just like how when asking a question in english, the question mark goes a the end, but in Spanish it goes at the front as well...it's just a rule
